Support daily living and medication routines at Fred Victor’s Kingston Road Housing in Toronto, using trauma-informed and harm-reduction practices.
As an Activities of Daily Living Worker, you will provide personal support services based on client Support/Goal Plans. You will assist tenants experiencing poverty, homelessness, mental health issues, active substance use, trauma, and social isolation. The work uses client-centered, anti-oppressive approaches.
Key Responsibilities: Provide input into client Support/Goal Plans
Implement personal support services based on plans
Assist with hygiene, laundry, rooms, and daily living
Support medication administration and other identified needs
Document client interactions according to Fred Victor guidelines
Requirements: Post-secondary education, lived experience, or equivalent
Experience with Life Skills and Hoarding Coaching
Harm-reduction experience supporting active substance use
Strong customer service and case management skills
Trauma-informed, client-centered, anti-oppressive practice
Bring daily living support, documentation, and cooperative care skills to Fred Victor’s Kingston Road Housing team in Toronto.
