This full-time mechanic role focuses on maintaining trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment for safe, road-ready operation. You will use repair tools, complete safety inspections, document work, and maintain reporting in the M5 program. The position includes physical work and varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair heavy trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment
Complete repair paperwork and document parts usage
Conduct safety inspections and report equipment deterioration
Inspect, remove, and replace vehicle tires
Maintain inventory and reporting in the M5 program
Requirements: Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certificate
Three to five years of work experience
Valid driver's licence
Basic hand tools and willingness to obtain additional tools
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
