Maintain clean, sanitary facilities with Our Place Society using cleaning equipment, specialized chemicals, and minor maintenance skills. Casual shifts may vary.

The Facilities Worker maintains buildings and grounds across Our Place Society facilities. This work includes cleaning, disinfection, laundry, refuse management, and minor maintenance. You will also support records, supplies, furniture setups, and building security while working cooperatively or independently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and disinfect building areas, washrooms, and high touch surfaces
- Perform laundry duties and dispose of refuse
- Clean parking lots and sidewalks using available equipment
- Complete minor building, grounds, furniture, electrical, and plumbing maintenance




- Maintain logs, supplies, furniture setups, and building security

Requirements:

- Grade 10 education and WHMIS certification
- Minimum six months recent related experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Knowledge or ability to learn cleaning chemicals and methods
- Ability to manage concurrent tasks and follow oral instructions
