Coordinate pre-award research applications at CAMH using grant development, proposal review, and database administration skills. Work full-time and permanently within Research Operations, Services and Support.
As Grants Development Specialist, you will support CAMH scientists, trainees, and research staff throughout internal application approvals. Reporting to the Manager, Grants & Awards, you will coordinate diverse projects, review budgets, and prepare formal communications. The work includes electronic platforms, content management systems, agency documents, and grant education.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate research application intake and internal approval requirements
Validate submissions and ensure complete, accurate electronic records
Provide narrative support, strategic feedback, and budget review




Draft formal letters and mass communications for research initiatives
Assist institutional applications, internal reviews, and post-award reporting
Requirements: Three years’ experience in a pre-awards research grants office
Proposal development experience with wide-ranging health research agencies
Electronic research administration and content management systems experience
Ability to manage high-volume, simultaneous diverse projects
Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Use grants coordination, proposal development, and research systems expertise to advance accurate applications across CAMH.
