Maintain production equipment as an Industrial Millwright at Maple Leaf Foods in Saskatoon, using mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills.
This millwright position supports daily production at the 100 McLeod Avenue boutique sausage facility. In a unionized maintenance department, you will install, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment while supporting plant efficiencies. The role follows a rotating shift schedule excluding nights.
Key Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex production equipment
Operate equipment and check performance as required
Complete preventative maintenance procedures and regular work orders
Perform machining and fabrication for repairs or upgrades
Apply food safety, GMP, HACCP, WHMIS,



and health requirements
Requirements: Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright Journeyperson Certificate
Manufacturing experience of one to three years is an asset
Mechanical knowledge covering power transmission, pneumatics, and hydraulics
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and schematics
Basic computer ability and robust communication skills
