Serve patients as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Pemberton Health Centre, using assessment and clinical judgment. This position is based in Pemberton, BC.
Vancouver Coastal Health offers this Registered Nurse position under the general supervision of the Manager. The successful candidate assesses patient responses to actual or potential health conditions, monitors changes, and takes appropriate action. Responsibilities include planning care, preventing complications, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and adhering to hospital policies. Candidates need an approved nursing program, current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives, and emergency nursing specialty or at least two years of recent related experience. Current ACLS, CTAS, PALS, and NRP are required. Effective verbal and written communication, time management, organizational ability, priority setting, CPR,



and physical ability to perform duties are also stated requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Detect changes in patient health conditions

Instruct and direct the work of others
Requirements: Approved nursing program graduate
Current practicing registration with BCCNM
Emergency nursing specialty or two years recent related experience

Use patient monitoring, care planning, and emergency nursing capabilities to support quality care at Pemberton Health Centre.
