Under the direction of the Supervisor, Housekeeping – the Housekeeping Aide performs a variety of light and heavy cleaning duties to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The Housekeeping Aide plays a front-line role in supporting infection prevention and control, maintaining patient comfort and dignity,



and ensuring operational efficiency through timely turnover of patient and treatment rooms. Cleans and disinfects various healthcare areasincluding patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency rooms, covering all surfaces like floors, walls, and ceilings. Sanitizes high-touch surfaces daily, such as medical equipment, toilets, sinks, furniture, and door handles. Restocks hygiene suppliesin dispensers, including paper towels, toilet paper, soap, lotion, and hand sanitizer. Handles equipment and furniture transportusing appropriate tools and maintains cleaning equipment by replacing parts and performing upkeep.
