Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a lawyer with 5 to 7 years of experience in business law, primarily in corporate and transactional matters, to join its Montreal office. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as a positive understanding of financing matters. You will take an active role in managing transactions and advising business clients on a variety of matters. Drafting and reviewing various commercial and transactional agreements,



including purchase and sale agreements and shareholder or partnership agreements Overseeing the preparation of share capital structures and corporate documentation related to corporate and tax reorganizations Drafting and reviewing legal opinions and other transaction-related documents 5 to 7 years of experience in business law, primarily in corporate and transactional matters ~ Solid experience in mergers and acquisitions ~ Excellent analytical, drafting and negotiation skills ~ Excellent command of French and advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken ~ Group insurance and retirement plan Employee assistance program.
