Key Responsibilities Lead the structural design and analysis of various building types using advanced engineering principles.
Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications compliant with national standards.
Conduct site inspections during construction phases to ensure design integrity and quality.
Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and approve shop drawings and construction submittals from contractors.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior structural engineers.




Undertake feasibility studies and structural assessments for existing and new buildings.
Manage project timelines and budgets effectively for structural components.
Stay updated on the latest building technologies, materials, and construction methods.
Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration with ECSA is required.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, specifically focused on building design.
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, Revit Structure) and CAD platforms.
Thorough knowledge of South African National Standards (SANS) for structural design.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work effectively in both office and remote settings as part of a hybrid team.
