The Laundry Aide performs essential laundry duties in a senior living facility. You will handle personal clothing and linens, follow machine instructions, and protect resident privacy. Key Responsibilities: Receive, sort, and classify laundry by type, condition, and weight
Wash, dry, fold, and deliver linens to appropriate units
Separate personal clothing for repairs or ironing




Observe machines and report malfunctions to the supervisor
Maintain clean, orderly laundry facilities and equipment
Requirements: Basic understanding of washer and dryer operations
Some knowledge of chemicals used in laundry processes
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Basic laundry knowledge with independent working skills
Ability to use protected work practices and personal protective equipment
Support residents through dependable laundry service, safe equipment practices, and confidential handling of personal clothing and linens.
