Support seniors with daily living, resident care, and meaningful relationships as a Health Care Aide at Shasta Care Community in Edmonton.
Reporting to a Wellness Manager, this permanent part-time position provides 30 hours bi-weekly within the Long-Term Care team. You will support eating, dressing, hygiene, grooming, communication, mobility, and resident well-being. The work also includes family relationships, program participation, and prescribed medication administration after additional training.
Key Responsibilities: Support activities of daily living under individual care plans
Encourage use of glasses, hearing aids, and sensory supports
Maintain access to canes, walkers, and call bells
Provide cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, oral, and dental support




Encourage participation in individual and group programs
Requirements: Completed Health Care Aide program from an approved college
Compassion and dedication to supporting seniors
Proficiency in straightforward treatment procedures and bedside care
Tact and diplomacy with seniors, families, and visitors
Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and legal Canadian work eligibility
