Maintain clean, disinfected recreation facilities as a part-time Custodian with the Town of Ajax, supporting customers and scheduled functions.

Reporting to the Facility Supervisor, the Custodian handles housekeeping throughout an assigned facility. The work includes cleaning floors, washrooms, entrances, and public areas. The Custodian also sets up and takes down rooms for functions, interacts with visitors, and works evening and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and wax facility floors
- Wash and disinfect washrooms, fixtures, mirrors, and floors
- Replenish toilet tissue and soap as needed
- Set up, take down, and clean function rooms
- Provide facility information to members of the public

Requirements:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent experience
- Intermediate First Aid with CPR C/AED Certification
- Valid Class G Ontario driver's license and explicit abstract
- Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and up to 24 hours weekly
