Rydel Roofing is looking for 4-6 experienced Commercial Flat Roofers to join our team in Halifax. We’re seeking reliable, safety-minded individuals who take pride in quality workmanship and work well with others. These are year
- round, Full-Time positions. Job Responsibilities
- Install, repair, remove, and replace commercial flat roofing systems, including Modified Bitumen, TPO, and PVC.
- Work under the direction of a foreman to complete roofing projects safely and efficiently.
- Set up and clean up job sites, including preparing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate and maintain roofing tools and equipment.
- Provide guidance and support to roofing labourers as needed.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Qualifications and Requirements
- 2–5 years of commercial flat roofing experience.
- Experience working with Modified Bitumen, TPO, and PVC roofing systems.
- Must be able to demonstrate competent torch skills.
- Valid Fall Protection certification.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.




- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying roofing materials, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Availability to work 40–50 hours per week, with occasional weekend work.
- Soprema and/or IKO certifications are an asset.
- Spanish language skills are an asset but are not required. Compensation and Perks
- $32–$35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
