Harwood Ford is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer / Automotive Technician. We are looking for someone with experience in paint protection film, automotive vinyl wraps, vehicle graphics, large-format decals, or automotive window tint. However, previous PPF installation experience is not required. We are willing to provide professional PPF installation training for the right applicant We use XPEL Paint Protection Film and take pride in providing high-quality installations and workmanship for our customers. This is a varied position that combines PPF installation with general automotive service and new vehicle accessory installations. When PPF work is slower, the successful candidate will assist our service department with maintenance, tire installations and accessory installations on new vehicles. If you enjoy working with vehicles, have an eye for detail and take pride in doing quality work, we would like to hear from you Job Responsibilities Paint Protection Film & Vehicle Appearance
- Install XPEL Paint Protection Film on recent and used vehicles.
- Prepare and properly clean vehicle surfaces before installation.
- Apply film to various vehicle panels, including hoods, fenders, bumpers, mirrors and door edges.
- Ensure clean, precise installations with attention to detail and quality.
- Inspect completed installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized installation workspace. Automotive Service & Accessories
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and basic servicing.
- Install and remove seasonal tires and wheels.
- Install new vehicle accessories such as mud flaps, running boards, tonneau covers,



floor liners and other dealer-installed accessories.
- Assist the service department with general shop duties as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications & Experience
- Experience with PPF installation, automotive vinyl wraps, window tint, vehicle graphics or large-format decals is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and automotive equipment.
- Basic automotive knowledge or previous shop experience is an asset.
- Mechanically inclined with an interest in learning new skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organized and motivated.
- Valid driver's licence. PPF installation experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with related film or decal installation experience who are interested in learning PPF installation.
