Provide personal care in person across Winnipeg as a Health Care Aide with Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, using communication and critical thinking.
This clinical position serves St. Vital Home Care-L6 within WRHA Community Health Services - Access St. Boniface. The 0.50 FTE schedule includes shifts and weekends, with travel between clients’ homes potentially required. You will support individuals while respecting comfort, privacy, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities: Provide protected, effective personal care to individuals
Communicate with clients, families, and co-workers
Organize and prioritize assigned workload
Work independently or within a team
Transfer and transport patients and equipment
Requirements: Complete a recognized Health Care Aide course
Hold a valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license
Access a reliable vehicle or travel year-round
Use basic Microsoft Word and Outlook skills
Work shifts, weekends, and between clients’ homes
