Macaulay Centres for Children seeks a Teacher Assistant to deliver developmentally appropriate programs. You will support inclusive programming, observe children’s emerging skills, and collaborate with classroom teams. The position serves children at Stanley Child Care Centre and reports to its Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise children and maintain secure, healthy care environments
Assist with daily programming, evaluation, and curriculum implementation
Encourage active learning, inclusion, independence, and problem-solving
Record observations supporting identification of individual needs




Communicate learning and development updates with families
Requirements: Early Childhood Assistant program graduation or equivalent experience
Experience working with families, children, and special needs
Working knowledge of ELECT and play-based curriculum
Microsoft Office, internet, email, and computer literacy
Current Standard First Aid and medical records
