Develop public relations experience with the Toronto Maple Leafs through media documents, inquiries, credentials, and game-day communications. This internship supports MLSE operations across Toronto.
Working with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership, you will support media coverage of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Responsibilities include crafting and distributing documents, responding to inquiries, coordinating the Media Centre, and providing Hockey Operations assistance. The internship also includes administrative support.
Key Responsibilities: Craft and update documents for team media coverage
Distribute materials to media and Maple Leafs staff
Respond to email and in-person inquiries
Refer inquiries to appropriate information sources
Support media credential creation and distribution
Requirements: Enrollment in college or university
Journalism, communications, or sports management studies preferred
Familiarity with social media
Ability to work independently with accuracy
Discretion, diplomacy, tact, and deadline management
Apply communication, organization, and public relations skills while supporting Maple Leafs media services and Hockey Operations at MLSE.
