Job Title: Unregulated Care Provider (UCP) – Medication Administration

Job Summary Lundy Manor is an independent retirement residence seeking a skilled and dependable Unregulated Care Provider (UCP) to join our care team. This role is focused on safe medication administration, basic wound care, and clinical coordination. The UCP works closely with the Director of Care (DOC), physicians, nurses, and Ontario Health at Home to ensure residents receive high-quality, timely, and person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders, established policies, and applicable regulations
- Perform simple wound care (e.g., dressing changes) as directed and within scope
- Monitor residents for changes in condition, medication effects, and overall well-being; promptly report concerns
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and Ontario Health at Home regarding resident care needs and updates
- Accurately document medication administration, treatments, and observations
- Report directly to the Director of Care (DOC) and follow direction related to clinical care
- Ensure compliance with all medication safety protocols and infection prevention and control standards
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as required
- Maintain a safe, respectful,



and supportive environment that promotes resident dignity and independence Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate or equivalent healthcare experience required
- Medication administration training and experience essential
- Experience with simple wound care preferred
- Previous experience in a retirement home or healthcare setting is an asset
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external partners
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong documentation skills
- Ability to work independently within scope and collaboratively as part of a team
