Support safe senior living communities with basic repairs and preventative maintenance as a Maintenance Assistant at Sunrise Senior Living.
Sunrise Senior Living provides resident-centered care while supporting team member growth across Canada. In this position, you help maintain a secure, clean, well-functioning community. Your work includes plumbing, electrical, appliance, fixture, HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
Perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and fixture repairs
Assist with painting and refurbishing projects
Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance
Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
Requirements: Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards
Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills
Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory
Support carpet and floor care as needed
Drive the community vehicle as assigned
Bring repair, preventative maintenance, and safety skills to daily building operations at Sunrise Senior Living communities across Canada.
