Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital is expanding its Emergency Team with experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians. You will transition established clinical skills into emergency triage while receiving specialized triage training and working alongside DVMs, specialists, and an interdisciplinary team. The position supports small animal patients in urgent and critical situations.
Key Responsibilities: Prioritize urgent care needs and stabilize critical patients
Manage anesthesia during life-saving emergency surgeries
Monitor post-operative recovery for surgical patients




Provide compassionate care for complex small animal cases
Collaborate with DVMs and specialists through patient discharges
Requirements: Proven RVT experience in clinical or hospital settings
Eligibility for RVT registration in Ontario
Technical skills in venipuncture and IV catheter placement
Experience with anesthesia monitoring and patient assessment
