Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at our residence. Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, and vacuuming
- Sanitize and clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures. Strong attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures. Excellent customer service skills – previous experience with seniors a benefit. Ability to stand, lift, stretch, reach for long periods of time. A local police check is mandatory. A provincial or out of province police check and other types of background checks may be required. Must be bondable. Qualifications
- Minimum 3 year’s experience in/with commercial cleaning
- ie hotel, residences, senior housing.




- Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to handle basic maintenance equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Understanding of safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals The ability to work in a team setting and provide a caring, friendly and engaging manner whilst cleaning. Energy, enthusiasm, and a sincere desire to provide the highest standard of cleanliness for residents. Must be respectful of being in someone else’s home. Must be available Monday to Friday between 9am
- 5pm.
