Job Summary Gateway Mall is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and skilled Maintenance & Grounds Technician to join our property maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the mall's indoor facilities and outdoor areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained workplace for tenants, customers, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
Indoor Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform general handyman duties and minor facility repairs.
- Handle basic plumbing, drywall repairs, and fixture maintenance.
- Operate and assist with waste compaction equipment.
- Respond to tenant maintenance and service requests.
- Inspect and maintain common areas, doors, fixtures, and building equipment.
- Identify maintenance issues and report repairs requiring specialized contractors. Outdoor Maintenance & Grounds
- Maintain cleanliness around the building exterior and property perimeter.
- Perform parking lot cleanup and general waste collection.
- Manage outdoor waste bins and disposal areas.
- Assist with seasonal property preparation, including snow and ice removal.
- Ensure walkways, entrances, and outdoor areas remain clean and safe.



Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or building operations preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, drywall, and general repairs.
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
- Physically capable of performing manual labour and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Flexible availability, including occasional weekends when required.
