The Opportunity: 4-month placement, starting January 2027 How You Will Contribute: This co-op opportunity offers exposure to electro-optical mechanical design, documentation, and database management across a portfolio of networking platforms. The role contributes to the development and documentation of leading edge circuit packs and optical plugs while gaining experience with engineering design processes and prototype evaluation.
- Develop mechanical design solutions for circuit packs and optical plugs incorporating current technologies in physically dense and thermally constrained environments
- Create mechanical part and assembly designs and drawings
- Evaluate first samples and build prototype assemblies
- Manage and maintain 3D printer equipment
- Maintain engineering databases The Must Haves:

Education:
Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- 3D design tool experience, preferably Creo or Solidworks
