Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Certified Pedorthist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' needs and providing custom foot orthotics and footwear solutions to enhance mobility and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot structure, gait, and overall biomechanics.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments to address specific foot-related issues.
- Fabricate, fit, and modify custom orthotic devices and footwear according to patient specifications.
- Educate patients on the proper use of orthotic devices and footwear, ensuring they understand the benefits and maintenance.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting assessments, treatments,



and progress.
- Stay current with advancements in pedorthics and participate in continuing education opportunities. Requirements
- Certification as a Pedorthist from an accredited organization is required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to podiatry and orthopedics.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
