Japanese Takeout Cook
- Evening and Overnight Shift Experienced cook required for a Japanese quick-service takeout kitchen with no dine-in service. You will work alone after training and handle all kitchen duties during your shift. This position includes late-night and overnight work. Schedule and pay
- Full-time, with at least 4 shifts per week.
- Evening and overnight shift: 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. the following morning.
- CAD $24.00-$26.00 per hour, based on relevant kitchen experience.
- Overtime is paid separately in accordance with BC employment standards. Work and training locations

- Prepare ingredients, sauces and portions for service.
- Cook menu items according to our recipes and quality standards.
- Manage incoming takeout and delivery orders and prioritize preparation.




- Pack orders accurately and have them ready for pickup.
- Receive, store and replenish ingredients and packaging supplies as needed.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Store and rotate food safely and follow food safety procedures.
- Wash dishes and equipment and keep the kitchen clean and organized.
- Complete closing duties, including cleaning, safe food storage and preparation for the next shift. Requirements
- Previous kitchen work experience is required.
- Ability to handle cooking, preparation, packing, stocking and cleaning independently after training.
- Good organization, food safety knowledge and attention to order accuracy.
