SCS Refrigeration Inc. is seeking an experienced Control System Technician. The successful person will have a programming, CAD, electrical and mechanical systems background, takes pride in their work, a positive attitude, enjoy working with people, be well organized and have a strong commitment to a positive customer experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Programming of PLC’s and custom control systems for Industrial Refrigeration applications
- Design and programming of graphical interface systems
- Setup and configuration of communication networks related to control projects
- Setup and implementation of preconfigured control systems
- Prepare electrical schematic and system layout drawings using AutoCAD
- Involvement in start-up, configuration, commissioning and monitoring of control systems
- Communicate with field staff to provide technical information on projects
- Assisting field staff with installation of control systems
- Provide project documentation, training and technical information to customers
- Provide ongoing technical service support for SCS employees and customers
- Communicate with external and internal parties to organize project deliverables
- Maintain timely communications of project status
- Involvement in developing project requirements, planning the system design, creating bill of material lists and resolving technical issues
- Be accountable for project performance
- Assure discreet handling of all business matters with tact and mature judgment
- Demonstrate teamwork, positive communication and common sense
- Customize and streamline job processes to operate with efficiency
- Other duties as assigned What you bring:
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a relevant field




- College Diploma or University Degree in the Engineering/Industrial Automation Disciplines
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical is preferred
- Experience working with AB / Rockwell, or Schneider Electric software and systems is preferred
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
- Must be comfortable working at a desk as well as at a construction site and in the industrial environment
- Must be a strategic thinker
