Job Summary THIS IS A STRAIGHT DAYS POSITION, MONDAY
- FRIDAY 8AM-4:30PM We are seeking a skilled and energetic 310T Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heavy trucks, your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly. Your mechanical knowledge, hands-on skills, and dedication will drive success in this fast-paced workplace. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment such as transport trucks, mostly Freightliners and Volvo's
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Conduct electrical repairs and diagnostics on industrial equipment to ensure safety and compliance
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Operate trucks for testing or assembly purposes while adhering to safety protocols
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose problems




- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all maintenance activities
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status clearly and professionally
- You will be working on both trucks and trailers Experience
- Must be a licensed 310T mechanic with experience working on transport trucks and 53' trailers
- Strong electrical knowledge combined with mechanical skills for troubleshooting truck systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus for understanding operational requirements during repairs
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, or metalworking techniques is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving Must have reliable transportation to the shop and a strong work ethic. Good attendance is required as this is a busy shop. Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour
