About Premier Graphics Premier Graphics is a signage and vehicle wrap company based in Richmond, BC. We design, produce, and install everything from single vehicle wraps and storefront signage to large-scale construction site signage packages. Our clients range from local businesses to construction companies and developers across the Lower Mainland. We're a team of 35 people, and we work closely together. Sales, project coordination, production, and installation all happen under one roof, which means you'll see the direct result of your work every day. We value people who take ownership, communicate clearly, and care about doing things properly. We're adding a full-time bookkeeper with robust accounts receivable skills. Collections and keeping receivables current is where we need the most help, so this person will own that from day one. You'll also keep our books accurate and take ownership of purchasing so that every dollar we spend on materials and supplies is spent well.
What You'll Do
Bookkeeping
- Own accounts receivable: invoicing, collections, follow-up on overdue accounts, and keeping receivables current
- Manage accounts payable
- Enter and reconcile credit card expenses in QuickBooks Online
- Set up payment methods and accounts for new customers
- Compile and prepare records for our accounting firm for GST/PST returns and CRA payroll remittances
- Learn Jobber, our job-management software, which issues invoices that sync to QuickBooks Online Purchasing Purchasing sits with this role on purpose. We want someone who looks at the numbers to be the one placing orders, because that person will compare prices, question costs, and catch increases that a busy production team might miss. Over time, we'd like you to know our suppliers well enough to get us the best pricing available.
- Write and send purchase orders to suppliers
- Purchase small items and supplies from Amazon and other online retailers
- Review pricing from our major suppliers (such as ND Graphics and Grimco), compare quotes, and negotiate where possible
- Track supplier pricing over time and flag cost increases to management
- Build and maintain relationships with our key vendors Administration
- Issue Certificates of Insurance for new customers
- Assist with preparing and filing contracts with construction companies for large projects What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with a strong accounts receivable background: invoicing, collections, and reducing overdue balances
- Proven track record of bringing receivables current and keeping them there
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (required)
- Familiarity with BC GST/PST and payroll remittance requirements
- Experience in a trades, construction, manufacturing, or print/signage business is a strong asset
