In accordance with the province of Ontario mandate. Rate of Pay: $24.64 per hour. Pension enrollment after 975 hours. Rate of pay increases with seniority in accordance with CUPE union contract.

Qualifications:
Food Service Worker Experience, we are looking for individuals with a good attendance record and who are adaptable and flexible. Must be able to work as a team member and with the elderly. Must have a Vulnerable Sector Police Check – not older than 6 months.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure that the food is served in a timely manner and in a pleasing way.
- Assist in the daily cleaning and sanitizing of dishes, utensils, and equipment used for resident meal preparation, delivery, and service.
- Complete all audits as required and document the results.




- Ensure that the correct temperatures of food and equipment are documented and maintained as per procedures.
- Prepare resident meals and snacks.
- Assist in the receiving, storing, and managing of the inventory of resident food and food service supplies
- Reports issues and concerns to the Nurse in charge or Dietary Manager.
