What we’re looking for in you You are looking to join a growing team to build the next evolution of home furnishing. You love a challenge and take pride in your work. You also have a passion for providing great customer experience, passionate about interior design, adaptable to change, results driven, hardworking, and willing to learn. You have:
- 3+ years of experience in a design-related field
- Experience within a Design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retailer is a great asset
- Can show proven success in providing tactical and effective solutions to clients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Google Suites, Canva,



Adobe and Microsoft tools
- Resourceful self-starter with a relentless desire for growth
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize

What you will be working on As the Virtual Designer, you are the designer for our customers throughout their experience with Furnishr. You’ll be tasked with helping our sales team reach new heights and building processes that will help grow our business. This includes but not limited to:
- Create room designs for customers by curating the most suitable products from our catalog
- Communicate design advice and feedback
- Revise designs to meet customers’ needs
- Create functional space layouts using the selected furniture
- Support product sourcing and request new products from suppliers when required
- May need to travel onsite (in Toronto) to help coordinate the delivery and assembly on delivery day
- General support to the tech team
- Be our UX tester of the design tool and suggest technical features that improve the tool
- Providing feedback on the process and help in the optimization of our design process You will learn about the vendors we use for products and fulfilment to help you answer questions from prospects.
