Job Summary We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Bakery Associate to join our team As a Bakery Associate, you will support both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations, including dessert preparation, beverage making, customer service, and daily store maintenance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a team environment, and is passionate about delivering quality products and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Dessert & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare, assemble, and decorate desserts according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist with basic baking, ingredient preparation, and daily dessert production.
- Prepare beverages according to store recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in product quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Package desserts and beverages for dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Customer Service & Front-of-House Operations
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Assist customers with menu selections, product inquiries, and recommendations.
- Accurately take orders and process payments using the POS system.
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing product displays.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Ensure orders are prepared and served accurately and efficiently. Daily Store Operations
- Perform daily opening and closing duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including preparation areas, equipment, counters, and dining spaces.




- Restock ingredients, packaging materials, and store supplies.
- Monitor product freshness, inventory levels, and expiration dates.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing inventory.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support both FOH and BOH duties as needed, especially during busy periods. Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in a bakery, dessert shop, café, or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valuable attention to detail, cleanliness, and product presentation.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
