About The Role
Working within Paladin’s Innovation & Technology team, this position supports teams across the organization from our Burnaby location. You will work in a collaborative, practical environment focused on solving real business challenges, improving workflows, and delivering clear data solutions that drive business decisions. ## What You'll Be Doing
- Work directly with various business stakeholders to understand business problems, processes, and reporting needs. Communicate insights, recommendations, and actionable strategies through reports, presentations, and discussions with stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting processes, and operational workflows. Take ownership of projects through completion while managing multiple priorities.
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, including data models, DAX, Power Query, and paginated reports.
- Investigate data quality and reporting issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using scripting and low-code tools.
- Test, troubleshoot, and support reporting and automated solutions after deployment.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes to integrate and prepare data for reporting, analysis, data validation, and transformation.
- Perform other responsibilities as required to meet organizational requirements. ## Must Haves
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Strong practical experience with SQL and Power BI (including DAX, Power Query, Report Builder, data modeling, and dashboard development).




- Proven business analysis skills with the ability to understand business processes and translate user needs into technical solutions.
- Direct experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and present findings.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and take full ownership of projects from requirements to delivery.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to offer creative solutions ## Nice-to-Haves
- Four-year post-secondary degree, preferably in business, science, or a related field.
- Experience building or maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud data platforms.
- Experience with data warehousing and dimensional or relational data modeling.
- Experience using Python for data processing, analysis, or automation.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, such as Power Automate or Power Apps.
