This Personal Support Worker position supports residents or clients with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily activities. You will follow care plans, report changes, protect confidential information, and respond to concerns. The role also includes supporting families and maintaining safe environments.
Key Responsibilities: Follow care plans determined by the supervisor
Assist with hygiene, personal care, and daily living
Support ambulation, transfers, mobility, and adaptive aids
Observe and report changes in client condition




Prepare nutritious meals and maintain clean environments
Requirements: Personal Support Worker program graduate or provincial equivalent
Experience supporting seniors in community health services
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
Solid communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to lift and transfer clients when necessary
Bring personal care, mobility assistance, communication, and safety skills to Extendicare’s part time resident support services.
