Industrial Mechanic work in Dauphin combines equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at Prairie Mountain Health’s Regional Health Centre.
Reporting to the Area Manager, this full time position supports hospital buildings, building services, service equipment, and departmental equipment. The work includes installation, testing, analysis, maintenance, repair, and emergency response throughout Prairie Mountain Health. Millwright expertise spans pumps, fans, blowers, conveyors, motors, welding, and machine shop equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Install, test, maintain, analyze, and repair hospital equipment
Troubleshoot and rebuild pumps, compressors, vacuum pumps, fans, and blowers
Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, welding equipment, and power tools
Perform rigging, hoisting, welding, brazing,



and equipment alignment
Respond to emergency calls, including Code Red and Code White
Requirements: Grade 12 education meeting Manitoba Standards
Journeyman Industrial Mechanic qualification or willingness to complete
Five years’ post-certification maintenance experience
Microsoft programs, Internet applications, and information technology proficiency
Organizational, problem-solving, communication, and independent-work skills
Apply industrial mechanic expertise in pumps, rotating equipment, welding, and maintenance across Prairie Mountain Health facilities.
