Lead complex commercial door repairs and emergency service calls while applying advanced diagnostics to mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment.
As a Senior Commercial Overhead Door Technician, you independently maintain, repair, and install systems across assigned contracts. The work includes loading docks, truck restraints, dock seal/shelters, high speed doors, hollow metal doors, operators, and controls. You also provide hands-on coaching and technical escalation support.
Key Responsibilities: Resolve high-risk failures and escalated service calls
Diagnose commercial doors and associated electrical systems
Install advanced systems according to manufacturer specifications
Provide technical guidance to junior technicians
Support estimates, scopes,



onboarding, and service planning
Requirements: Five or more years of relevant hands-on experience
High school diploma required; certification strongly preferred
Ability to troubleshoot complex commercial door issues independently
Robust communication for clients, documentation, and coordination
Willingness to wear personal protective equipment
Bring senior-level repair expertise, emergency troubleshooting, and technician mentoring to commercial overhead door service assignments.
