Support infant and toddler development as an Early Childhood Educator with YMCA BC in Princeton, using creative programming and active supervision.
This permanent, full-time position provides quality care through the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum. You will design age-appropriate activities, communicate with families, and maintain safe, engaging environments. The role includes rotating Monday-to-Friday shifts between 7:15 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities: Provide quality care and creative programming for children
Build positive relationships with children and families
Deliver age-appropriate YMCA Playing to Learn programs
Maintain active supervision and smooth play-area transitions
Share daily updates through the Weemarkable parent communication app
Requirements: Basic ECE certification recognized in British Columbia
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Emergency First Aid, CPR-C, and AED certification within 30 days
Three satisfactory references
Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
Bring infant-toddler care, family communication, and creative programming skills to YMCA BC’s Princeton learning centre.
