Support person-centered resident care at Optima Living as a Health Care Aide, assisting daily living, mobility, medication, and nutrition needs.
Reporting to the Director of Care and working under a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will support residents’ physical, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, and cultural needs. Your work promotes dignity, self-determination, and functional independence across care activities.
Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Document observations and interventions, reporting resident changes promptly
Administer and document medication according to care plans
Support nutrition, hydration, dining, and meal-time mobility




Respond to call bells, requests, incidents, and emergency codes
Requirements: Recognized Health Care Aide program completion
Current College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta registration
Active CPR and First Aid certification
Medication Administration course, exam, and annual recertification
Computer literacy and flexibility to work diverse shifts
Bring respectful resident care, accurate documentation, medication support, and mobility assistance to Optima Living’s care team.
