Job Summary We are seeking a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care in a welcoming dental practice. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to helping people feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits. Experience in a dental office is preferred; familiarity with Dentrix and the ability to communicate in more than one language are valued. Duties
- Perform dental hygiene assessments, review health histories, and document findings in patient records.
- Provide preventive care, including cleanings, periodontal maintenance, fluoride treatments, and oral hygiene instruction, within the scope of licensure.
- Take and review dental radiographs as permitted by applicable regulations and practice protocols.
- Identify and document oral health concerns, and communicate relevant findings to the dentist for evaluation.
- Support patients in understanding treatment recommendations and maintaining effective home-care routines.
- Deliver attentive, courteous customer service and help create a calm, positive patient experience.
- Maintain accurate,



timely clinical documentation, preferably using Dentrix or similar dental practice software.
- Follow infection-control procedures, safety standards, and applicable state and federal requirements.
- Coordinate with dentists and the dental team to support efficient patient care and office operations
- Apply knowledge of medical terminology when documenting care and communicating with the clinical team. Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice, in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification, as required by applicable regulations and practice policy.
- Solid communication, organization, and patient-care skills, with a professional and compassionate approach.
- Dental office experience preferred.
- Experience with Dentrix or comparable dental practice management software preferred. Pay: $55.00-$70.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week
