JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a technically strong and proactive Sigma Operations Engineer to provide dedicated operational support for the Sigma analytics platform. The role will handle high-volume operational requests, platform administration, access management, governance, troubleshooting, and process automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day operational support for the Sigma analytics platform.
- Manage high-volume Sigma operational requests, including user access, team management, member management, and account-type changes.
- Troubleshoot Sigma workbooks, datasets, connections, permissions, and user access issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring operational issues and identify opportunities for automation.
- Support Sigma governance, administration, configuration, and platform maintenance.
- Work closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, Security, and business teams to resolve issues.
- Investigate issues across Sigma and its upstream data sources, particularly Snowflake and dbt.
- Support change/release activities and ensure operational changes follow established processes.
- Maintain operational runbooks, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Monitor operational trends and identify opportunities to reduce manual requests and improve business processes.




- Participate in incident management and provide timely resolution according to defined SLAs.
- Support automation initiatives to reduce repetitive operational work. Required

Skills:

- Hands-on experience with Sigma Computing or a similar enterprise BI/analytics platform.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehouse concepts.
- Understanding of Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms.
- Experience with user/access management and platform administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Understanding of incident management and IT service management processes.
- Good understanding of DataOps and CI/CD concepts.
- Experience working with Git/GitHub and deployment/release processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Preferred

Skills:

- Experience with dbt Cloud, Fivetran, Atlan or similar modern data stack technologies.
- Experience automating operational processes using Python or scripting.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.
- Experience working in an enterprise data/analytics environment. Key Attributes:
