Kinton Ramen is one of Canada's leading Japanese ramen brands, known for delivering exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and memorable guest experiences. We are looking for a motivated and service-focused Assistant Service Manager to support daily front-of-house operations at our Seasons of Tuxedo location in Winnipeg. This role is ideal for an experienced restaurant supervisor or leader who is passionate about guest service, team development, and operational excellence. ##

Key Responsibilities
### Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Lead the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Handle guest feedback, service recovery, and customer concerns professionally.
- Ensure service standards and hospitality expectations are consistently met.
- Monitor online reviews and identify opportunities for improvement. ### Team Leadership & Development
- Train, coach, and mentor servers, hosts, and support staff.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily goals and promotions.
- Ensure team members follow company standards, procedures, and policies.
- Support employee onboarding and ongoing development. ### Operations Management
- Assist with restaurant opening, closing, and shift management duties.
- Monitor labor costs and staffing levels to meet business needs.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards are maintained.
- Support inventory management and ordering processes.
- Assist in implementing company initiatives, promotions, and operational programs. ### Administrative Duties
- Assist with scheduling and attendance management.




- Review daily sales reports and key performance indicators.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and end-of-day procedures.
- Complete management reports and operational follow-ups as required. ## Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant leadership experience (Supervisor, Shift Leader, or Assistant Manager preferred).
- Robust customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to lead a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations.
- Smart Choice Certificate is mandatory.
- Food Safety Certification is considered an asset. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires standing for up to 8 hours per shift, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position also requires lifting up to 25lbs from floor to waist, waist to shoulder and shoulder to above head.



This position also required twisting, turning, and reaching.
