Position: Snow Operations Reporting to: Ski Operations Manager / Director Ski Operations Key Function: Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining safe, accessible, and well-presented resort grounds, parking areas, roadways and trails in accordance with the Resort’s standards of quality and service. Responsibilities / Related Duties: The Snow Operations team plays an essential role in the guest experience. Working in changing winter conditions, team members maintain safe access to the hotel, ski area and resort amenities through proactive snow and ice control, parking lot operations and trail maintenance.
- Snow removal and plowing of parking lots, roadways, access lanes and service areas
- Salting, sanding and applying approved ice-control materials as conditions require
- Shoveling and clearing sidewalks, stairs, entrances, emergency exits and pedestrian routes
- Monitoring snow and ice accumulation and responding promptly to hazardous conditions
- Parking lot operations, including traffic flow, snowbank management and safe guest access
- Operating tractors, plows, snowblowers and other assigned equipment safely and responsibly




- Inspecting equipment before use and reporting defects, damage or maintenance needs
- Trail work, including clearing, grading, drainage maintenance and seasonal preparation
- Assisting with general grounds maintenance, garbage disposal and minor repairs
- Installing and maintaining barricades, cones and signage around work areas and hazards
- Protecting guests, staff, vehicles and property during snow removal and equipment operations
- Coordinating with hotel, guest services, parking and Ski Operations teams to prioritize work
- Maintaining clean, organized storage areas and properly handling tools and materials
- Completing shift logs, equipment inspections and reporting of incidents or unsafe conditions
- Working outdoors in variable weather, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Following resort safety procedures, using required PPE and escalating hazards to supervisors Pay: $24.00 per hour
