About the Position We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Part-Time Printing Press Operator to join our team. This is a part-time opportunity with the potential to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate, based on business needs and performance. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience operating printing press equipment, preferably Heidelberg machines, who takes pride in producing high-quality work and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. Required Experience Experience operating one or both of the following machines:
- Heidelberg Printmaster – 2 Colour
- Heidelberg Platen Press – 10" x 15" Job Responsibilities
- Pre-stage and prepare all materials and equipment required for each printing job.
- Set up printing plates, tooling, and other necessary components.
- Thoroughly review job dockets and follow all job specifications and instructions.
- Ensure all required materials are readily available, including plates, dies, print cylinders, paper and other materials, and inks.
- Perform quick and efficient job changeovers.
- Properly wash up and clean the press after each job.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all press equipment and tools are properly maintained.
- Perform other related printing and finishing duties as required. Additional Experience Considered an Asset
- Experience operating paper cutting machines (guillotine cutters).
- Experience operating small binding and finishing equipment, such as stitchers, hole punches, and counting machines. Work Conditions and Physical Requirements

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Position Details
- Part-time position with the potential to transition into a full-time role.
- Hourly compensation will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Work Authorization Requirements
