Primrose Bagels is looking for an experienced baker to join our growing team. We're a modern neighbourhood bagel shop that runs on great product and warm hospitality, serving up fresh takes on timeless classics. We want people who put care into making great food, thrive in a busy kitchen, and have a passion for baking and all things bagels.

What you'll do

- Shape bagel dough by hand
- Scale ingredients and track dough from mix to bake
- Mix, divide, shape, and proof bagel dough
- Boil and bake bagels to company standards
- Follow recipes, processes and production schedules with consistency
- Make cookie doughs, pastry doughs, fillings, and assorted baked goods
- Provide creative input into seasonal specials, pastry and baked goods
- Keep your station clean, organized, and running tight at all times What we're looking for:
- Baking experience is a must
- Food service background is a must
- Bagel or pastry production experience is a major plus
- Passion for artisan old-world baking
- Organized, detail-driven, and reliable
- Works well solo and as part of a crew
- Punctual with early morning shifts
- Ability to perform physical work (lifting 25kg+, standing, repetition) Schedule & availability:

- Must be available on weekends
- Shifts start between 3:00 a.m. and 7:00am Pay & perks:
