Job Overview As a Food Handler and Cashier, you’ll support daily restaurant service by preparing and serving food, processing customer orders, and maintaining clean, orderly work areas. This hands-on role combines kitchen tasks with cashiering and customer service. - Prepare and serve food according to established food safety and sanitation practices.
- Operate the POS system to process orders and payments, handle cash accurately, and complete basic math.
- Assist customers, answer questions, and use appropriate upselling to support their selections.
- Keep kitchen and service areas clean, organized, and ready for effective service. Qualifications Required: Practical food handling, food preparation, sanitation, food safety, cashiering, cash handling, POS operation, basic math, customer service, and time management skills support secure, accurate service. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, or kitchen experience. Pay: $17.60 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
