* THIS IS NOT A GENERAL TRUCK-DRIVING POSITION. We are specifically looking for drivers with solid, recent flatbed experience. MINIMUM

REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Ontario AZ or AR licence — REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 YEARS of professional FLATBED driving experience — REQUIRED
- Minimum 3 YEARS of verifiable commercial driving experience/insurance letter — REQUIRED
- Clean driver's abstract
- Proven experience securing and transporting flatbed freight
- Long-haul experience
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Canada
- Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) is a MUST
- Must be comfortable using an ELD and willing to learn ARMOR HAULAGE's ELD system
- USA experience is an asset but NOT required at this time
- USA travel will be available as our USA operations expand
- Professional communication and customer-service skills

OUR EQUIPMENT Our operation includes hotshot pickup trucks and flatbed trailers, as well as larger flatbed equipment. Depending on the position and equipment assigned, drivers may operate:
- Hotshot pickup trucks with trailers
- 40' flatbed trailers
- 48' flatbed trailers
- 53' flatbed trailers
- Other flatbed equipment as required Drivers must be comfortable working with different types of flatbed equipment and understand the requirements involved in loading, securing, transporting and delivering flatbed freight safely. LICENCE REQUIREMENTS A VALID ONTARIO AZ OR AR LICENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. Applicants must have the appropriate licence and experience for the equipment they will operate. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES As an ARMOR HAULAGE driver, you will be responsible for the safe and professional transportation of flatbed freight. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating assigned trucks, pickup trucks and trailers
- Transporting various types of flatbed freight
- Properly loading, securing and tarping freight when required




- Understanding and following proper load-securement procedures
- Completing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Checking tires, lights, fluids, brakes and other safety equipment
- Reporting mechanical issues, damage or safety concerns immediately
- Maintaining the assigned truck and trailer in a clean and professional condition
- Ensuring freight is protected and properly secured throughout transportation
- Completing required paperwork and delivery documentation
- Using the company's Electronic Logging Device (ELD) system as required
- Accurately recording and maintaining required Hours of Service and driver logs through the ELD
- Communicating professionally with customers, dispatch and management
- Following all applicable Ontario and Canadian transportation regulations
- Following ARMOR HAULAGE safety policies and procedures
- Immediately reporting roadside inspections, accidents, incidents or interactions with law enforcement
- Following all distracted-driving and company safety policies
- Performing long-haul runs as required WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for professional drivers — not just someone who holds an AZ/AR licence. The successful candidate should: ✔ Have 5+ years of hands-on flatbed experience ✔ Understand proper load securement ✔ Be comfortable with long-haul transportation ✔ Be able to work independently and responsibly ✔ Take pride in keeping equipment clean and well maintained ✔ Have a professional attitude when dealing with customers and dispatch ✔ Have a strong safety mindset ✔ Be dependable and punctual ✔ Be mechanically inclined — an asset, but NOT required ✔ Be willing to travel throughout Canada ✔ Be willing to travel to the USA when required — USA travel is NOT MANDATORY at this time ✔ Have experience using an ELD, or be willing and able to learn and properly use ARMOR HAULAGE's ELD system ✔ Be comfortable using electronic systems for Hours of Service, driver logs and required documentation REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION PLEASE HAVE THE FOLLOWING AVAILABLE WHEN APPLYING: 1. Flatbed Experience A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OF FLATBED EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. * Our current operation includes Canada-wide long-haul transportation, including Quebec. THERE IS NO LOCAL-ONLY WORK AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION. Drivers must be comfortable with long-haul routes and being away from home as required by the assigned run. USA TRAVEL WILL BE STARTING SOON.
