Excel Society seeks a Health Care Aide to provide client care within established competencies. The work includes supporting physical, mental, emotional, psychosocial, and cultural or spiritual needs. You will build rapport, use active listening, observe client status, and communicate with families and the health care team.
Key Responsibilities: Provide care within Health Care Competencies
Build respectful relationships with clients and families
Support client health, wellness, and home safety
Observe, document, and report client status and behaviours
Follow infection control and isolation procedures
Requirements: Hold an Alberta-recognized HCA certificate
Be enrolled in the CLHA Directory as mandated
Maintain First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Provide a satisfactory current criminal record check
Bring client care, active listening, documentation, and communication skills to support residents and families at Balwin Villa.
