Support students with learning challenges as an Education Assistant at Holy Trinity Elementary School in North Vancouver, starting January 2027. Full or part time.
This Education Assistant supports students in kindergarten through grade 7. The work addresses ASD, language-based learning disorders, and other learning or behavioral challenges. You will collaborate with classroom teachers, Education Assistants, Learning Resource teachers, and school-based team members.
Key Responsibilities: Support students with diverse learning and development needs
Implement Individual Education Plans and Individual Care Plans
Apply programs established by the school-based team
Work closely with teachers and school-based team members




Support learning goals across grades kindergarten through seven
Requirements: Knowledge of methods supporting children with special needs
Understanding of varying learning styles
Behaviour theory or intervention strategy knowledge is an asset
Special Education Teaching Assistant certification preferred
School experience or equivalent child-support experience beneficial
Bring special education knowledge, collaboration, and care to students with learning challenges at Holy Trinity Elementary School.
