Class 1 & Class 3 Truck Operators – Commercial & Industrial Join the Collective Waste Solutions Team Collective Waste Solutions is looking for reliable, safety-focused Truck Operators to join our growing operations in Fort McMurray, Alberta. We have opportunities available in both our Commercial and Industrial divisions. Available Opportunities & Schedules 1. Commercial Operations – Fort McMurray
- Class 3 or Class 1 Licence with Air Brake Endorsement required.
- Regular Monday to Friday schedule.
- Schedules may vary based on operational requirements.
- Experience operating front-load, side-load/ASL, and roll-off trucks is an asset. 2. Industrial Operations – Fort McMurray
- Class 1 Licence with Air Brake Endorsement required.
- Rotational schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
- Industrial driving and site experience considered an asset.
- Must be able to meet applicable industrial site access and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial waste collection vehicles, including front-load, side-load/ASL, and roll-off trucks.
- Complete assigned collection routes, waste pick-ups, transportation, and disposal activities.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment concerns.
- Follow company safety procedures, site-specific requirements, and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Complete required paperwork, daily logs, inspections, and electronic documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, customers, and coworkers.
- Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
- Identify and report hazards, incidents, and opportunities for operational improvement. Qualifications & Requirements
- Commercial: Valid Class 3 or Class 1 Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement.
- Industrial: Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement.
- Satisfactory driver's abstract.
- Previous commercial driving experience required.
- Experience operating front-load, side-load/ASL, and roll-off trucks preferred.




- Waste management, industrial, or environmental services experience is an asset.
- Strong safety awareness, communication skills, and customer service abilities.
- General mechanical aptitude and ability to complete required documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must meet company fitness-for-work and drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain required safety tickets and certifications. Additional Requirements
- Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
