Overview Radix Perio is seeking a highly experienced, motivated, and reliable Level II Dental Assistant to join our busy periodontal practice. We are looking for a skilled chairside assistant with a strong clinical background and extensive experience in dental assisting. Previous experience working with a periodontist and assisting with periodontal surgeries is strongly preferred. We are looking for someone who is fast, exceptionally organized, proactive, and able to take initiative. The ideal candidate can anticipate the clinician's needs, stay several steps ahead during procedures, and keep the clinical workflow running efficiently without constant direction. Punctuality, efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment are essential. Responsibilities
- Provide efficient, confident chairside assistance during periodontal procedures and surgeries.
- Anticipate the clinician's needs and stay one step ahead throughout procedures.
- Prepare surgical rooms, instruments, and materials efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain an organized, well-stocked, and ready-to-use clinical environment.
- Take initiative in preparing for upcoming procedures and maintaining an efficient workflow.
- Maintain strict sterilization, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Assist with patient preparation, postoperative instructions, and patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and support efficient daily operations.




- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure smooth and timely patient care. Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Level II Dental Assistant certification.
- Extensive chairside assisting experience.
- Previous periodontal and surgical assisting experience is strongly preferred.
- Valid IPAC, WIMS, and CPR certificates.
- Strong knowledge of surgical protocols and infection prevention.
- Dentrix experience is an asset.
- Fast, highly organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Proactive, takes initiative, and works independently without constant supervision.
- Able to anticipate the clinician's needs and stay ahead during procedures.
- Punctual, dependable, and professional.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- A team player who thrives in a busy, fast-paced surgical environment.
