Job Overview The Daycare Supervisor at Great Kids Palace Dayhome & Drop In helps create a safe, caring, and welcoming environment where children can learn, play, socialize, and develop essential skills. This role oversees daily childcare routines, coordinates age-appropriate activities, supports caregivers and childcare staff, and ensures that children receive attentive and individualized care in both regular daycare and drop-in settings. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily routines, play-based learning activities, and age-appropriate educational experiences.
- Support childcare staff with classroom organization, supervision, and daily caregiving responsibilities.
- Ensure children are provided with a safe, clean, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
- Communicate with parents and families regarding children's daily activities, routines, progress, and individual needs.
- Assist with organizing indoor and outdoor play, creative activities, and social development opportunities.
- Help accommodate children with different abilities, backgrounds, and developmental needs.
- Monitor children's well-being and help maintain consistent childcare practices and safety standards. Your Impact:

Requirements Required: Practical experience or demonstrated abilities in childcare, caregiving, communication, and daily activity coordination. Ability to supervise children, support staff, communicate effectively with families, and maintain a safe and welcoming childcare workplace. Preferred: Previous experience in a daycare, dayhome, preschool, or childcare setting. Early Childhood Education (ECE) training or certification is an asset. Experience supporting children with diverse developmental abilities or additional support needs is beneficial. Strong organizational skills, patience, adaptability, and a caring approach to working with children and families are highly valued. Pay: From $25.85 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
